Deputies have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman injured in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 24 last Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 49-year-old Ella Acree was westbound when it collided with another vehicle and ran off the road and into the median. The second vehicle fled the area before law enforcement arrived.
Acree was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
The crash happened just before 6 pm, a mile west of exit 89
