First District Congressman James Comer says he is proud to be serving on the National Defense Authorization Act Conference Committee.
Comer says the committee is tasked with working out the differences between the House and Senate Versions of the military spending bill.
The Congressman says the committee is made up of some influential members of Congress.
He adds a pay raise for the military is one of the major priorities in the Defense Authorization Act.
Other priorities include making sure military bases have proper funding for improvements that will ultimately provide better working conditions for our troops.
