Bridge Inspections Taking Place Along Highways in Southern Christian County

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has begun performing bridge safety inspections near Fort Campbell.

District Two spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers said the work started Sunday and is scheduled for completion Friday. She added the inspections would require single-lane closures on U.S. 41-A and a single lane closure with flaggers on Kentucky 109 – Bradshaw Road.

Three bridges on U.S. 41-A and one bridge on Kentucky 109 will be inspected, with lane closures not exceeding two-hours at each location. A bucket truck will be used for access to these bridges.
