Two Charged With Possession Of Drugs After Hopkinsville Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on South Jessup Avenue in Hopkinsville led to drug charges Sunday night.

Hopkinsville Police say during a traffic stop on South Jessup Avenue they could see drugs in plain view.
When asked about the drugs one of the passengers 31-year-old Robert Steele of Hopkinsville reportedly admitted ownership of the meth found in the vehicle and a bag of synthetic drugs.
A second passenger 31-year-old Teresa Hodge of Hopkinsville allegedly told police the marijuana and some of the synthetic drugs in the vehicle were hers.
Hodge is charged with possession of marijuana and synthetic drugs. Steele was charged with possession of meth and synthetic drugs.
