Todd County Reports Six New COVID-19 Cases Friday

The Todd County Health Department reported Friday afternoon four more adults and two minors tested positive for the coronavirus.

Director Jen Harris said two of the adults have underlying health conditions and are connected to other cases, one of which is linked to cases out of state. Both are isolated with mild and moderate symptoms.

According to Harris, the other two adults are healthy with one connected to another case infected with the virus. Both are isolated at home with mild and moderate symptoms.

The two minors who tested positive are isolated at home with no symptoms and both have been linked to another case.

The four new cases reported Friday follow five new cases confirmed Thursday in Todd County involving four adults and a minor who had tested positive.

As of Friday, 259 total cases have been confirmed in the county. Of that number, 211 have recovered, 34 are healing at home and three are hospitalized. The county has also reported eleven deaths linked to COVID-19.
