New COVID Cases Confirmed In Trigg And Lyon Counties Friday

More new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Trigg and Lyon counties Friday.

According to the Pennyrile District Health Department, three cases were reported in Trigg County involving two males ages 21 and 63 years old, and a 64-year old female.

The health department’s report shows a total of 221 cases have been confirmed in Trigg County since the pandemic began earlier this year. Of those, 30 are at home, three are hospitalized and 189 have recovered.

In Lyon County, the health department reported one new COVID-19 case was confirmed Friday involving a 74-year old female, who is isolated at home.

To date, a total of 91 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lyon County. Eleven of those cases are at home, four are hospitalized, 71 cases have recovered, and five deaths have been linked to the virus.
