Caldwell County Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases; Two Other Cases Reported Across Health District

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced four new cases across the five county district Wednesday.

According to the health department Caldwell County confirmed the highest number of cases Wednesday at two. The cases, which raise the county’s total number of cases to 176, involve a 26-year-old male and an 18-year-old female, who are both isolated at home.

The health department reported one new case in Lyon County, that of a 50-year-old female who is isolated at home. To date Lyon County has had 84 total confirmed cases of the virus.

Livingston County was the only other county in the district to report a new case Wednesday, that of a 34-year-old male, who is recovering in his own home. Livingston County has now seen 95 cases of the virus confirmed since the pandemic began.

No new cases were reported in Trigg or Crittenden County Wednesday.
