Two Christian County High School graduates have both earned American FFA degrees from the National FFA Organization.

Christian County Public Schools spokesman John Rittenhouse says Gracey Hancock and Lynzee Lacy recently earned the degree. He adds the American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in FFA agricultural education.

Degree requirements are 540 hours of instruction in an agricultural education program, the completion of a Kentucky State FFA degree, 50 hours of community service, and completion of a Supervised Agricultural Experience Project.

Hancock currently attends Western Kentucky University, while Lacy attends Murray State University. Both of the recipients will be recognized at the Virtual National FFA Convention & Expo on October 27th.
