A Murray man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck and was later charged with DUI Friday night in Calloway County.
Calloway County Dispatch received a call of around 7:00 of a single-vehicle injury accident on Gibbs Store Road. Upon arrival, deputies located a white Ford Ranger truck partially submerged in a creek in the 700 block. Calloway County Fire-Rescue personnel assisted in freeing the sole occupant of the vehicle, 46-year-old Jamie Dunn.
Dunn was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries received during the collision.
A preliminary investigation indicated Dunn was southbound on Gibbs Store Road when his vehicle exited the west side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, and came to rest in the creek.
After receiving treatment for injuries, Dunn was arrested and charged with his second offense of driving under the influence – aggravating circumstances and lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
