‘Wildcat Wednesday’ Raises Over $22,000 for Trigg County High Athletics

Over $22,000 has been raised for the Trigg County High School athletic program as part of ‘Wildcat Wednesday’ sponsored by the Edge Media Group and WKDZ.

All of the money raised will be given to TCHS athletics, who are forced to operate under reduced capacity guidelines due to COVID-19 concerns.

Athletic Director Matt Wilder said the money raised will help ease the burden of the school and the kids who are doing their own team fundraising to offset costs.

Money was raised through corporate sponsorships and individual donations through the Big Deals Store at wkdzradio.com. The Cadiz Rotary Club also matched the first $10,000 raised. You can donate to TCHS athletics through the online store until midnight Friday or by dropping off a monetary donation to WKDZ.

The Edge Media Group has helped raise nearly $40,000 for the athletic programs in Trigg and Caldwell counties this month through radio fundraising.
