Trigg County added eight reported cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, with the number reported in the past week nearing the total for all of August.
The Pennyrile District Health Department said the new cases ranged in age from 17 to 82, with all eight isolated at home. Two of the cases involved high school-aged teenagers. There have been 61 cases in Trigg County this month, with a positivity rate of over 10-percent which has put the county in the “red zone” by the White House.
Trigg reported 39 cases in August and 18 in July.
