A Dawson Springs man is facing charges following an incident at the Caldwell County Jail Friday morning.
According to a Princeton Police report released Wednesday officers responded to the jail just before ten for a complaint of an inmate that was found with contraband. The report indicates officers made contact with 47-year-old Joe R. Curnell and investigation revealed he was found to allegedly be in possession of a sharp object that could be used to injure employees or other inmates.
Curnell was taken into custody and charged with first degree promoting contraband and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
