Every Trigg County Child Eligible to Receive Meals from TCPS

Some restrictions have been lifted that will allow Trigg County Public Schools the opportunity to serve more meals to those who are not enrolled in the district.

Food Service Director Paula Dickerson tells the News Edge the USDA lifted the restriction that wouldn’t allow them to serve meals to those who are not taking classes with the district.

She says any child under the age of 18 is eligible to receive a meal.

Dickerson adds they may be able to continue this program until the end of the year if that is needed.

She says they are hoping to be able to return to some normalcy, if classes resume to in-person status on Monday, September 28.

The meals will be delivered each weekday from 11:00 a.m. to noon at 11 locations throughout Trigg County.

Meals will be provided until September 28 at these locations:
