The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is alerting motorists who travel along U.S. 41-A in Oak Grove to be aware of a new traffic light that will be operating normally beginning Wednesday.
District 2 Spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers says the light is currently in flashing mode to indicate caution and will be activated by mid-morning Wednesday. She adds motorists on U.S. 41-A will continue to have the right of way.
The Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, and Hotel approach will continue to be stop-controlled and will have a flashing red signal to indicate stopping.
Motorists can expect periodic delays while signals in the area are addressed. Drivers are strongly encouraged to exercise caution while driving through the intersection.
