Christian County’s 7-Day Average of Active COVID Cases Tops 200

Christian County has seen its seven-day average of active COVID-19 cases top 200 for the first time with 13 more reported on Friday. The Christian County Health Department said there are 241 active cases with only one recovery reported in the past three days.

The seven-day average of active cases has increased five straight days and stands at 200.5.

The number of active cases involving people 21 and under has increased by 11 since Monday, while the number involving those 22 to 59 has jumped by 32. Active cases involving people 60 and up have increased by 19 this week.

Christian County’s recovery rate now stands at 65-percent.
