Cadiz Man Facing Various Charges in Princeton

A Cadiz man is facing several charges, including disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, following an incident at Caldwell Medical Center.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states officers responded to the medical center around 10:35 Saturday night in reference to a male subject refusing to leave. He adds when officers arrived on scene they were able to make contact with the described individual, 46-year-old Ryan L. Shemwell, and determined he was allegedly under the influence of intoxicants.

Assistant Chief Allison notes Shemwell would not comply with officers requests to leave and became very combative.

He was finally taken into custody and charged with second degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, third degree criminal trespassing, and public intoxication.

Shemwell was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
