The Todd County Health Department reported another new positive COVID-19 case was confirmed Wednesday.
Director Jen Harris said the new case is an adult with a compromised immune system who is currently hospitalized for non-COVID related issues is displaying no symptoms. She added this case is not connected to any of the other positive coronavirus cases.
In addition, Harris said the presumptive case reported Tuesday was also confirmed positive Wednesday. That case involved a healthy adult who is currently isolated at home with mild symptoms.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the overall total number of COVID-19 cases in Todd County since March is 43. Of that number 33 cases are active and ten have recovered.
