Trigg County Road Department, with cooperation from the Environmental Protection Cabinet, is now hosting the semi-annual tire round-up. The event was postponed from earlier in the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the past two days, they have accepted hundreds of tires and will continue until 4:00 pm today, June 26th.
The Road Department is accepting tires both on and off the rims, exclusions being foam-filled tires, off-road construction equipment tires, and tires with pressed on rims.
The drop off for the tire round-up is located at the Trigg County Road Department at 2759 Hopkinsville Rd.
