Trigg County To Hire New Animal Control Officer

A new Trigg County Animal Control Officer could be in place as early as July 1 following the resignation of Torrie Davis earlier this month.
Trigg County Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander confirmed Davis’ resignation and said the search is underway for her replacement.

Alexander says in the interim, Emergency Management Director David Bryant will be providing animal control services.

The animal control officer is responsible for picking up stray dogs and cats in Trigg County and transporting them to the Christian County Animal Shelter.
