A Cadiz man that was reportedly found passed out in a vehicle in Hopkinsville was arrested on drug charges Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Gregory Shemwell was found passed out in a running vehicle that was still in drive on Blooming Grove Road around 6 am.
During the investigation, a police K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and police found a handgun along with meth inside.
Shemwell was arrested and charged with possession of meth and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was also cited for not having a registration plate.
