Freedom Elementary School Honored With ENERGY STAR Award

Freedom Elementary School was recognized by Christian County school board members Thursday night after the school was honored with an ENERGY STAR award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s program.

District Facilities Director Trevor Herndon said the improvements with the energy project in 2014 is what makes these awards possible. He said the district continues to make a positive contribution to the environment while improving the quality of education for students.
