State Parks Launching “Rediscover Kentucky” Program

Kentucky State Parks are working to bounce back after nearly four months of revenue loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Parks Commissioner Robert Conway, who took over the office in February, says the parks are just now starting to get back to normal.

He says 2020 will be a great year for the state park system.

Conway adds they are launching the Rediscover Kentucky program.

The reduced rates at each Kentucky State Park will remain in effect through the foreseeable future.

Conway encourages everyone to visit the state parks. He shares a love, with many, of Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
