Local Surgeon Explains COVID-19 Impact on Jennie Stuart

A surgeon from Jennie Stuart Health is sharing how COVID-19 has impacted his office and their operations as they welcome patients back following quarantine.

Dr. Matthew Robinson tells the News Edge there have been several obvious changes in normal office operations including suspending the use of traditional waiting rooms.

He notes they have changed their preparations for procedures and are requiring patients to be tested for COVID-19 prior to surgery.

Dr. Robinson says they have special guidelines in place for patients that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr. Robinson is a highly trained and certified General Surgeon serving Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties.
