A local insurance agent is sharing the story of how COVID-19 impacted his family and changed their lives.
Norman Cotton, a Trigg County Farm Bureau Insurance Agent, says his mom was diagnosed with COVID-19 while residing in a nursing home.
He notes he wanted to share the story to shed light on the difficulty of losing a loved one and being unable to be with them.
Cotton says the nurses set up zoom calls so he and his siblings could visit with their mom.
He wants people that have lost loved ones recently from something other than COVID-19 to know they are not forgotten.
