In addition to hosting the Noon News Edge and being a voice on Hoptown this Morning, Boyd spent the past five years hosting the Silver Survey Saturday program on WHVO, which was inspired by his life-long friend DJ Everett and their memories of the Silver Dollar Survey on WLS. He is also credited with requesting the name of the road in front of the WKDZ-WHVO studios to be changed to D.J. Everett Drive.
