UPDATE – Child Flown To Hospital, House Destroyed In Cerulean Fire (w/VIDEO)

A child remains in a Nashville hospital after being pulled from a burning house on Princeton Road in Cerulean Friday morning.

Cerulean Firefighters say two people who lived in the area noticed the fire and alerted the people inside along with helping them get out.

The home was fully engulfed along with two vehicles when firefighters arrived.

A 7-year-old child was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter that flew her to a Nashville hospital for injuries.

Emergency personnel say the child sustained burns to her chest and hands and is being treated for smoke inhalation and severe carbon monoxide poisoning.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say the child was alert and talking before leaving the scene.

A man was also injured as he helped get the child out of the home but he didn’t want to be taken to the hospital.

Jordan Tramel and Jessica Uhles were reportedly staying at the home.

The home is located at the intersection of Princeton Road and Bainbridge Road. The American Red Cross was called to assist the family.
