Small business owner, James R. Knight, Jr., has been chosen by the Christian County Republican Party as the Republican candidate to run for mayor of Hopkinsville in the November general election.
Knight said he is running to represent small business owners in Hopkinsville.

In addition, Knight says he wants to recruit small and large employers to the city, support growth at Fort Campbell and our military, strengthen our education system for K-12 and the local community college for workforce development, and improve Hopkinsvilles infrastructure and transportation system.
