Pennyrile Electric officials say a snake caused a power outage that affected customers in Christian and Trigg counties Tuesday night.
Officials reported the outage occurred around 9:00 p.m. at the Pee Dee Substation and affected 2,286 customers.
Power was restored to all customers before 11:00 p.m. after officials say crews replaced a damaged insulator.
