YMCA Continuing to Serve Community During Pandemic

The Hopkinsville YMCA has been busy serving their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Membership and Marketing Director Jason Strickland says they have been providing emergency childcare to essential workers.

He adds they have made their feeding program mobile to continue serving meals to children 18-years old and under.

Strickland notes they are grateful for the outpouring of community support and donations for the feeding program.

More information on the feeding program, including the schedule, is available on their website.

He says the YMCA will be hosting a virtual Water Safety Day for kids on Saturday.

Details on the event will be on their website.

Strickland adds they are aiming to reopen to members in early June.
