While many things have been canceled the last several weeks, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation is bringing back one of its popular events.
Superintendent Tab Brockman says Movies in the Park will return toward the end of the month. He adds the first one was set to take place Friday, May 29, but that has changed due to virtual graduations taking place that night for Christian County and Hopkinsville High school seniors.
Brockman adds the Movie in the Park nights are sponsored by United Southern Bank and will feature some of the newest movies.
In other good news, Brockman says the annual Community Fireworks Show will take place Saturday, July 4th.
