The Christian County Health Department confirmed Thursday afternoon that there are now five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney reports the three cases that were considered presumptive positive have been approved by the FDA. As of 2:00 Thursday afternoon, Sweeney says the five confirmed cases include one male and four females.
She reminds everyone to continue to practice social distancing and frequent hand washing with warm water and soap. Sweeney adds if you develop any symptoms including dry cough, shortness of breath, or fever to contact your local primary care provider.
