Museums In Hopkinsville Closing In Response To COVID-19

Executive Director of the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County Alissa Keller says the museums will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with plans to reopen Tuesday, March 31. In addition, she announced the 28th Annual Edgar Cayce Hometown Seminar scheduled for this weekend at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park has been canceled. Keller adds they will actively monitor the situation and keep everyone updated with any changes.

In the meantime, Keller says the staff is working on virtual experiences and take-home kits for kids and adults in an effort to keep folks engaged and interested in local history. She adds they will be hosting the Cayce Morning Exercises virtually on Wednesday and next Wednesday, March 25 at 10 a.m.
