Trigg ‘Cook Together, Eat Together’ Classes Start Wednesday

The Trigg County Extension Service is hosting classes beginning this week to help teach families the importance of partaking in meals at the dinner table.

Family and Consumer Science Agent Cecilia Hostilo tells the News Edge the program is called ‘Cook Together, Eat Together’.

Hostilo and Tara Alexander, Early Childhood Education Coach for Trigg County Schools, note the program starts Wednesday morning at 10:00.

The classes will be limited to ten families.

Hostilo adds the takeaway from the classes will be a stronger family bond.

To sign up for the free class, call Hostilo at (270) 522-3269. All of the classes will take place at the Way Christian Youth Center at 197 Lafayette Street in Cadiz.
