Christian County Wrapping Up Vision 2030 Survey

The Christian County Vision 2030 committee is hard at work gathering survey results and helping to make changes within the community.

Vision Coordinator Taylor Hayes says they started working on the survey in June 2019.

Hayes adds from that point they developed theme teams.

They now need help ranking the 129 action items.

Hayes adds an example of an action item included making the city of Hopkinsville a gig-city.

He notes the task force will take a look at what the rankings are and develop a written plan.

The survey will continue for about another two weeks and can be completed by visiting clicking here. Some ideas that have arisen in the survey include; making the county an agriculture destination, helping to grow existing companies, and find ways to connect Oak Grove and Hopkinsville.
