The Christian County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday the launch of a new mobile application to better connect with residents and visitors that will provide information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.
Sheriff Tyler DeArmond says the new app, developed by TheSheriffApp.com, offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few clicks users can submit a tip, browse recent arrests, view the most wanted criminals in Christian County, research sex offenders in the area, connect to the organization’s social media platforms, receive push notifications, read the latest news and press releases and more.
According to Sheriff DeArmond, TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC, specializes in smartphone app development for sheriff’s offices and public safety organizations across the country. OCV, LLC has developed more than 500 apps, designing and customizing apps for state, county, and local government agencies.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office app is available for download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching “Christian Sheriff KY”.
