PHOTOS – Trigg County 4-H Members Learn About Processing Hogs

Trigg County 4-H members involved in the Country Ham Project spent Saturday, February 8, at the farm of James Adams, Jr. and his family learning about the tradition of processing pork on the farm.  Adams said he has been involved in processing hogs on the farm since he was one-year-old.  Adams and his son James and others showed 4-H members how to carve a country ham and other cuts of meat.  The 4-H also learned how to make sausage and even had a chance to taste some of the finished product.
