Multi-Generation Farms

Farmers & Farm Owners
Graham Cofield, Trigg County Extension Agent

We need your help! As a part of celebrating Trigg County’s Bi-Centennial during our annual Ag dinner we would like to recognize as many of our multi- generation farms as possible.  We will have Ky Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarles at our dinner to help us with recognizing our farms and your Trigg County history.  The two requirements for being recognized are:

  • That you own a farm/land in Trigg County that has been in your family for 3 or more generations
  • We ask that you complete the form provided and return it to the Trigg County Extension Office by Feb. 28th so we can prepare your certificate and recognize your farm and family during our dinner

We aren’t asking you to copy deeds or provide proof of ownership or other extra paperwork. The single form is it! You don’t have to be actively farming the land to be recognized at the dinner if it’s your Family Farm we want to recognize it.  As always we want you to be there, but if your schedule doesn’t allow we still want to recognize your farm so don’t let that discourage you.  Please help us with celebrating your Family Farm History and our Trigg County Bi Centennial during our Ag Appreciation Dinner by completing the form and returning it to our office by February 28thIf you have any questions give us a call at 270-522-3269.

If you are interested in becoming a centennial farm KDA has information on that process and we’d be glad to help you get started on that process, but that isn’t a requirement for our Ag Dinner.
