Chamber Announces Ferrell’s Ribbon Cutting And Open House

An open house and ribbon cutting will be held next month for the reopening of an iconic restaurant in downtown Hopkinsville that was badly damaged by fire last summer.

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday afternoon the event at Ferrell’s Snappy Service will be held Thursday afternoon, February 13, from 2:00 until 4:00.

The reopening of Ferrell’s comes after the restaurant in downtown Hopkinsville suffered major damage in a fire on the night of July 4, 2019. This was nearly a year after the Ferrell’s restaurant in Madisonville was damaged in a fire in September 2018 and reopened months later.

The popular restaurant in Hopkinsville is owned by Phillip and Carolyn Ferrell. They resumed ownership of the Hopkinsville, Cadiz, and Madisonville restaurants after selling the business in September of 2016.

Ferrell’s Snappy Service is located at 1001 South Main Street in Hopkinsville.
