DRY FOR A FEW DAYS

Seems like it has been a while since we have seen a sunny day. Although Sunday started off sunny, the clouds moved in and snow showers broke out that lasted into our Monday. It looks like we will see the sun return on Tuesday and things should stay dry through Thursday before a weak storm system moves into the region. This system will result in some light rain or sprinkles for the area, mainly Thursday night into early Friday. Rainfall amounts look to be very light and skies will clear as a cold front passes through by midday Friday.

Late in the weekend into Monday, things begin to look more interesting as a strong storm system and cold front moves into the region. This is another one of those storms where the winds will really pickup and rounds of locally heavy rain across the region. Some areas could pick up as much as two inches of rainfall. Once the cold front comes through it will turn sharply colder and the rain may end as snow showers. Another storm around the 15th or 16th will be very similar to the last few storms with lots of wind, heavy rain, and ending as snow. I still think the real cold with staying power and snow comes near or at the start of Christmas week. We’ll see how it shakes out.

A Thought; Each day I’m thankful for nights that turned into mornings, friends that turned into family, dreams that became a reality and likes that turned into love. There is always something to be thankful for so take time each day to remember just how blessed you are. Show respect even to people who don’t deserve it; not as a reflection of their character, but as a reflection of yours. Watch what you say. The words you speak are powerful. They can mend a broken heart and help repair a shattered mind. They can also destroy a person’s confidence and make people feel worthless. Be careful with your words, they can be forgiven but not forgotten.
