Motorists traveling in Cadiz need to be aware a contractor plans to begin milling and paving on KY 139/Jefferson Street this week.
State transportation officials indicate the project will be along Jefferson Street from the U.S. 68 Business/Main Street intersection extending northward to KY 124/Cerulean Road. Milling is expected early this week with paving expected to follow on Friday or Monday of next week.
Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway near traffic.
