Hopkinsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1913 held a ceremony Wednesday morning to honor the lives lost during the 9-11 attacks of 2001.
Post Commander John Brame recalls the horrific events of September 11, 2001, saying we have been at war since that day.
He adds we must always defend the great country in which we live.
Following the ceremony, attendees released balloons in honor of those we lost 18 years ago.
