UPDATE – Oak Grove Police Investigate Stabbing 

Oak Grove Police are investigating a stabbing on Pembroke Oak Grove Road Tuesday night.

Police say 46-year-old Derek Hill showed up at the Hiroad gas station just after 11 pm with multiple severe stab wounds all over his body.

Hill was reportedly rushed to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital by ambulance with severe bleeding.

As police continued to investigate they found Hill was allegedly stabbed at an apartment building inside a mobile home park behind the gas station.

Police also found a woman, whose name has not been released, in the home that was unconscious along with a 3-year-old child who was not injured.

The woman was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter. The full extent of her injuries remains unknown. Police say Hill was treated Tuesday night and released from the hospital Wednesday morning.

Hill was arrested on outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

Police are continuing to investigate the stabbing and say more charges are pending.
