The Cadiz-Trigg County Parks and Recreation board approved their budget and discussed improvements that need to be made to the complex during a special called meeting Wednesday afternoon.
The budget approved shows total revenues for the board is around $150,000, with over 70% of it coming from the required contribution from the tourism restaurant tax. The budget includes $100,000 being spent on special projects and over $10,000 spent on umpire fees.
Director Jeff Hunter tells the News Edge one of the special projects could be making improvements to the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
