The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire region until 10:00 Friday night and a Flash Flood Watch for Christian, Hopkins, and Todd counties through Saturday morning.
Some severe thunderstorms could be possible across the region during the afternoon and early evening Friday.
Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says the region is now under an enhanced risk for severe storms.
