Turner Recovering After Suffering A Stroke

Christian County Historian William Turner is recovering in a Nashville hospital after suffering a mild stroke earlier in the week.

According to social media posts, Turner was life-flighted to St. Thomas West Monday morning where he is said to be doing well. Reports indicate he will be in the hospital for several more days to be monitored.

Turner, a longtime historian for the second largest county in the state, also served as a founding member of the Hoptown Hoppers Board of Directors. The Hoppers will have a get well card for the community to sign during Wednesday night’s game.
