An East 7th Street home was severely damaged in a fire early Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Henderson told the News Edge at the scene firefighters were able to get the family’s cat out of the home uninjured but the home is severely damaged.
A firefighter fell from a ladder as he attempted to shoot water into the attic of the home but he was not injured.
