WEATHER UPDATE

The rains have been much lighter than expected today. The clouds hung on most of the day which helped keep the atmosphere from becoming unstable. Radar seems to indicate that most of the rain is over. There may be a few showers along the front as it comes through, but that seems to be about it. A cold front will move through the region overnight, bringing cooler temperatures and a temporary break from the rain on Friday. Clouds will probably hang tough most of the day and highs will be noticeably cooler in the 60’s. More unsettled, wet weather could return this weekend. While the first half of Saturday is expected to be mostly dry with only a small chance for rain in the morning. There is an increasing chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and night across west Kentucky. Some of the storms may produce heavy rainfall. The rain will begin to taper off late Sat night and Mother’s Day is trending dry with some clearing possible by afternoon. Monday and Tuesday both look sunny with upper 60’s and low 70’s for highs.

A Thought; Be brave in your life. Even if you’re not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference. Don’t allow the phone to interrupt important moments. Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is. Don’t burn bridges. You’ll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river. Leave everything a little better than you found it. Don’t forget, a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated. One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone. Sometimes the strongest thing you will ever do will be to let go of someone. It will be painful, you will suffer guilt, and you will second-guess yourself, but for your own sanity and quality of life, there will come a time where you hand them to God, with your love, and trust Him to be who and what He is.
