The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties beginning at 6:00 Friday evening until midnight Saturday night.
Meteorologists say more heavy rainfall is on the way, with two to three inches of rainfall possible. They add ground conditions are more than saturated from previous flooding rains and that additional rain will only cause flooding or flash flooding once again.
