The Calloway County Coroner has identified two women who were murdered on Catalina Drive Thursday night.
According to Murray Police, Police first got a call from someone on Catalina Drive around 9 pm Thursday saying they had returned home and found a woman dead next to their garage door. When police arrived they discovered she lived next door, after checking the home next door a second woman was found dead inside the home along with 51-year-old Shannon Scott who was in the bathroom of the residence.
Calloway County Coroner Ricky Garland identified the women as 77-year-old Evelyn Scott and 37-year-old Tera Todd both of Murray.
Scott was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence, animal cruelty and two counts of murder.
Both women were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for autopsies Friday.
