A Hopkinsville man was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants Friday afternoon.
According to a Hopkinsville Police report, an officer located 34-year old Joshua Colwell on Eighth Street near the railroad crossing and arrested him.
Colwell was served with eight warrants from Christian, Henderson, Todd, and Trigg counties. Most of the warrants were related to theft and forgery of cold checks. He was also charged with theft of a motor vehicle license plate and failing to appear in court.
Colwell is lodged in the Christian County Jail and will face five charges of theft by deception including cold checks under $500, two charges of theft by deception including cold checks under $10,000, and other offenses.
